International Conference on Theory and Practice of Digital Libraries (Conferentie)
De TPDL-conferentie (voorheen gekend als de European Conference on Research and Advanced Technology for Digital Libraries – ECDL) verenigt onderzoekers, ontwikkelaars, contentproviders en gebruikers uit het cultureel-erfgoedveld. De hoofdconferentie vindt plaats van 26 tot 28 september 2011 in Berlijn; een programma met werkcolleges en workshops gaat door op 25 en 29 september. TPDL 2011 wordt georganiseerd door de Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Berlin School of Library and Information Science, the Computer and Media Services and the Department of Computer Science). Op het conferentieprogramma staan onder andere papers/presentaties rond de volgende thema’s:

Aanwezigen kunnen ook deelnemen aan tutorials zoals ‘Harmonized models for the Digital World: CIDOC CRM, FRBROO, CRMDig and Europeana EDM’ of panels rond ‘Cross-border extended collective licensing: a solution to online dissemination of Europe's cultural heritage?’.
