Introduction
One of the goals of PACKED is to instigate or to participate in research projects. Through such projects, PACKED can gain and maintain the necessary practical experience as a centre of expertise.
All projects that are mentioned here were brought about in collaboration with other organisations and institutions. Due to its complex character, the development and exchange of expertise concerning digital cultural heritage and of methods for the archiving and conservation of audiovisual arts does not only require a broad range of approaches but also financial means and a competent staff. It is only through collaboration across geographical, sectorial and institutional boundaries that this kind of project can lead to good results.
Results of the mentioned projects will be written down by PACKED in reports that, if possible, will be published on this website (e.i. under Resources or as ‘best case’ in the Guidebook).
